1. The service

Brickstream is a platform operated by Brickstream AB (reg. no. 556792-7644), Linköping, Sweden. Consultants and candidates can create a profile, be matched to assignments, report time and receive self-invoices. Clients can follow assignments, approve time and see reports.

2. Account

• You must be at least 18 years old to sign up.
• You sign in with an e-mail link or code, or with a Microsoft work account. The account is personal.
• The owner, staff and client users without company sign-in must use two-step verification.
• Tell us immediately if you suspect someone else has used your account.

3. For consultants and candidates

• Signing up and being part of the network is free of charge. Signing up does not commit you to anything.
• You are responsible for the information in your profile and CV being correct and for having the right to provide it. Do not include classified information, e.g. security-classified projects.
• We only present you to a client with name and CV once you have approved it for the specific assignment.
• Each assignment is governed by a separate assignment agreement with rate, workload, period, client protection and any other terms. It also shows Brickstream’s compensation: the difference between the client’s price and your rate, which is shown for every assignment.
• Subcontractors with their own company accept a separate self-billing agreement in the platform before the first invoice. Payout is made 30 days after month end (standard), or on the 5th of the following month if you have chosen fast payout for the assignment in the platform (2% fee of the self-invoice amount excluding VAT, deducted as a separate line on the self-invoice). If the day is not a banking day, payout is made on the preceding banking day, never before the date of the self-invoice. You choose per assignment and can change the choice for coming months; the choice for a month is locked when the month is closed. Payout requires the month to be confirmed, the self-invoice approved and the company’s F-tax verified.
• If you do not have a company yet, you can still set up your profile, be matched and be presented to clients. If you choose "I am starting a company", you promise to have a registered company with F-tax approval and VAT registration no later than 14 days before the assignment starts. Without a registered company the placement cannot be confirmed and the assignment agreement cannot be signed, and Brickstream may then propose another candidate to the client. If you would rather invoice through an umbrella company, Brickstream arranges this case by case.
• We regularly ask whether your availability is still correct. If you do not answer within 30 days your anonymous card is not shown to clients until you confirm.

4. For clients

The client’s use is governed by the framework agreement or call-off with Brickstream. The client is responsible for only authorised people having accounts and for approvals being correct. Anonymous profiles may not be used to try to identify or contact consultants outside Brickstream.

5. Acceptable use

You may not try to access others’ data, disrupt the service, upload malicious code or use the service unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

6. Personal data

How we process personal data is described in the privacy notice.

7. Liability and availability

We aim for the service to be available and correct but give no warranties beyond what is agreed in assignment or client agreements. Brickstream is not liable for indirect loss. The limitation does not apply in case of intent or gross negligence.

8. Termination and changes

You can erase your account at any time under Profile & CV. We may change these terms; material changes are announced in the platform at least 30 days before they apply.

9. Governing law

Swedish law applies. Disputes are settled by Swedish general courts with Linköping District Court as the first instance.
