Brickstream is a consultancy in Linköping, Sweden. You see exactly what the client pays and what you get, and no client sees your name until you have said yes to the assignment.
Joining and being matched costs nothing and does not commit you. Once you have an assignment Brickstream normally keeps 15% of the client rate – you see it before you say yes. We pay 30 days after month end, or on the 5th if you choose fast payout (2% fee).

Brickstream normally keeps 15% of the client rate. You see the exact split on every assignment, before you say yes.
No invoicing – you choose the payout day
You confirm your time with one click. We create the invoice in your company’s name (self-billing) and you approve it with one click. We pay 30 days after month end, or on the 5th if you choose fast payout (2% fee); you choose per assignment and can change the choice for coming months.
You approve every presentation
Clients only see an anonymous card – if you want. Name and CV are only sent once you have said yes to a specific assignment.

How you get paid
Brickstream’s standard fee is 15 % of the client rate. Your hourly rate is the client rate minus the fee; any exception is agreed in writing.
- 15 % when Brickstream finds the consultant (standard).
- 12 % for a new client during the first 6 months of the client’s first assignment.
- 9 % when the client brings its own consultant and Brickstream handles contracts, invoicing and payout.
- 12 % for the same consultant with the same client from the month after 1,000 invoiced hours.
- Where several rules apply the lowest fee is used, never below 9%. You see which rule applies on every assignment.
Example: the client pays SEK 1,200/h → you get SEK 1,020/h (excl. VAT).
- You confirm the month’s time (by the last day of the month).
- We create the self-invoice for your company and you approve it with one click.
- Payout 30 days after month end, or on the 5th if you choose fast payout (e.g. 31 Dec → 5 January), 2% fee of the self-invoice amount excl. VAT, deducted on the self-invoice. You choose per assignment in the platform and can change the choice for coming months.
You are paid even if the client pays late – Brickstream carries the credit risk.
Refer a candidate: SEK 5,000 to your company once they have invoiced 160 hours.
We prioritise AI, ML and data consultants
We are mainly looking for AI/ML engineers, data scientists, data engineers, systems engineers and cybersecurity – ideally with experience from defence, automotive or industry. Other engineering profiles are welcome too.
Subcontractor or employee
Today we engage subcontractors with their own limited company or sole trader business with F-tax. Employment comes later – choose "Employment" when you sign up and we will be in touch.

What does it cost?
Nothing to join, be matched or be presented to a client. When you have an assignment Brickstream normally keeps 15% of the client rate; the exact split is in the assignment agreement and visible in the platform every month. Payout is 30 days after month end, or on the 5th if you choose fast payout (2% fee); you choose per assignment in the platform.
Do I commit to anything?
No. Signing up does not commit you to anything. You say yes or no to every assignment and can erase your account whenever you like.
Can I work directly for the client afterwards?
Not during the assignment or for 24 months after it ends, unless a transfer fee is paid. Client protection covers the client, its owner and the other companies in the same group, and the fee decreases every month. You always see the terms before you say yes, and simply being in the network involves no restriction.
What do clients see about me?
Nothing, unless you choose so. If you choose to be visible, signed-in clients see an anonymous card with role, experience range, region, month of availability and some skills – never name, CV or town.
Do you interview everyone who joins?
Signing up is open and takes a few minutes. Before we propose you for an assignment we have a structured 20-minute call with you, and before a client gets your name and CV we ask two references that you name for a short assessment – unless we already know you from our own work. The answers are never shown to the client. Once everything is done we can verify you: we then propose you directly for matching assignments for 12 months, without a new interview.
How are my CV and data handled?
The database and your files are stored in Stockholm (EU). AI reading of your CV only happens if you tick the box, and then the data may be processed in the USA under standard contractual clauses. You can download and erase your data yourself. Read the privacy notice.
Do I need my own company?
For subcontracting assignments you need a limited company or sole trader business with F-tax. You can sign up and be matched before you have started the company.
