Brickstream’s AI team produces bid support, requirements specifications and test cases at a fixed price, and a senior final reviewer – a person – always reviews the delivery before you get it. For companies

In your own words, in a call or to our assistant. We turn it into a requirement profile.
- Choose from an anonymous shortlist
Cards with skills, experience and availability. Ask for a presentation of the ones you want to meet.
- Approve and get one invoice
The line manager approves the time. Procurement gets one invoice per purchase order and month.
For consultants
- Upload your CV
Your profile is filled in from the CV. You check it and choose what clients may see.
- Say yes or no
When an assignment fits you see the client, the assignment and the rate before anyone gets your name.
- Confirm time, get paid
One click at month end. We create the invoice in your company’s name, you approve it with one click and we pay out 30 days after month end, or on the 5th if you choose fast payout (2% fee).

- Built for security-conscious clients
- Database and files in the EU (Stockholm), the option to require Microsoft sign-in (Entra ID) tied to your tenant, two-step verification, role-based access and a tamper-evident log.
- Already have a consultant?
- We handle the agreement, approval, invoicing and payout for a consultant you have found yourselves, too, for a fee of 9% of the hourly rate.
For consultants
- No invoicing
- You confirm your time. We create the invoice in your company’s name (self-billing) and you approve it with one click.
- Paid on the 5th with fast payout (optional)
- The standard is 30 days after month end. If you choose fast payout (2% fee on the self-invoice excl. VAT) the money reaches your company on the 5th of the following month. You choose per assignment and can change the choice for coming months.
- You approve every presentation
- Your name and CV are never shared with a client without your yes to the specific assignment.
- Open split before you say yes
- You see the client rate, the fee and your rate before you say yes. Brickstream normally keeps 15% of the client rate.

Brickstream AB was founded in 2009 by Henrik Tegelström and is run from Linköping, in the middle of Östergötland’s engineering and defence industry. We specialise in consultants in AI, data and engineering for engineering, industrial and defence companies.

Frequently asked questions
Is Brickstream a broker or a consultancy?
A consultancy. Brickstream AB is your contracting party and is responsible for the assignment; today the consultants are subcontractors with their own company. The difference from a classic broker is that everything is visible: the client sees what it pays and the consultant sees exactly what they get.
Which consultants do you have?
We specialise in AI and ML engineers, data scientists, data engineers, systems engineers and cybersecurity, ideally with experience from defence, automotive and industry. Tell us what you need and we will come back with an anonymous shortlist, or tell you if we do not have the right person.
How does the anonymity work?
Companies see anonymous cards with skills, experience as a range, availability and region. Name and CV are only sent once the consultant has said yes to your specific assignment.
How do you quality-assure the consultants?
Registration is open, but nobody is proposed unchecked: before we propose a consultant we have either interviewed them (20 min, structured and prepared from your need) and taken two references before you get name and CV – or know them first-hand from our own work. Consultants we have verified are marked "Verified by Brickstream". You interview them yourselves before you decide, and security vetting is done by you or the authority under your procedures.
Where is the data stored?
Database, sign-in and files are in the EU (Stockholm). The AI services we use and where they process data are listed openly in our privacy notice.
What does it cost?
For companies: describing the need and getting proposals costs nothing, and you are not committed to ordering. If you order a consultant you pay an hourly rate per assignment, agreed before the start. For consultants: free to join and be matched, with no commitment; once you have an assignment Brickstream normally keeps 15% of the client rate and the split is shown before you say yes.
